#3 Moments that make this life worth it...

A day I'll never forget with my seester. :) We got lost in K.C....which then proceeded into spontaneous rain dancing.  Emily, you have ALWAYS been there for me.  Thank you.

My cousin's picture message the day she was proposed to.  Words can't explain how happy/excited I am for her.  Megan, you deserve the world.  I know for a fact Grandpa Gash is beyond proud of your accomplishments these past few years.  The passion you have towards your students and their education shows through your hard work and dedication to the teaching profession.  

Their love for each other gives me hope for my future love story.  <3 Love you mom & dad.

Even in the worst of circumstances, this girl is ALWAYS smiling and loves everyone around her.  She will always be a lifetime best friend forever...(along with the rest of our crew). To all my high school gals, I LOVE YOU TONS! Can't wait to grow old with you all. Haha. ;)

MY BEEF!!!!!! Even though you're in Florida, we've always managed to stay close.  I'll never forget all the trouble we got into Senior year of high school...oh you having to save me from the Colorado mountains.  Can't wait to kick it with you soon, love.  Miss you so much!

I had one AMAZING Christmas this past year.  As you can tell from the MASSIVE bottle of white wine I'm holding.  After having lived in a Northern Ireland for 4 months, I definitely appreciate my homeland way more.    After God, my family and friends are what I value most.   

#2 Spring Break Plans

Officially have booked everything for SPRING BREAK 2013!  I will be spending eight wonderful days in Barcelona, Spain with my nursing crew (Caitrin, Bobby, Lucy, Ciara, Meg, Mo).  The first four days will be right on the beach, near some great nightlife venues and some famous....Olympian Port?  For the remaining of the trip, Caitrin and I, will be spending it in a rented out apartment very close by our first accommodation.

My list of 'MUST SEE' things:

1) Sagrada Familia: This building was designed by the illustrous architect, Antonio Gaudi, and has been under construction since the late 1800's (1882 to be exact).  According to Barcelona's tourist attraction site,  the elaborate building still has another 30-80 years until it will be completely finished.  

2) Pablo Picasso Art Museum! :) 

The guy lived to be 91 years old.

3) Montjuic Magic Fountain of Barcelona

This light show lasts for about two hours!!!!!!

4) Due to the fact we'll be staying so close to Port Vell Marina...this will be me regardless if it's not warm  enough!

#1 Blog Homesick! Boo!

Szia!  (Hello in Hungarian.)

So I should of started to blog...let's see...about seven months ago whilst studying in Northern Ireland, but it's never too late.  The purpose of this blog is to share my life adventures over here in Europe and whatever thoughts come to my mind.  I apologize in advance if ever my blogs get too personal but I've read several bloggers who do and I love it. Who likes to read sugar-coated material?  So here we go....

Ever since I arrived in Hungary let's just say life here has been an adjustment.  It's true that my instructors are wonderful, most students are very friendly,  and I live in a lovely apartment among five other lovely roomies.  This might sound a little pessimistic but I've been living in Europe most of the school year (2012-2013) and I'm really starting to miss...home.  I miss those late nights staying up and being silly with my best friends,  cheering on my little sister during basketball season, and being at Washburn among the wonderful nursing faculty.  The list could go on and on.  Whoever is reading this probably thinks I'm crazy for missing home but once you've been away long enough...most peoples' appreciation for home changes.  I know I have.  But in a positive light, I do feel SO blessed to be overseas and meeting people from all over the world.  There are just times when I could go for a 'small' dose of home.  Oh and some sun would be niiiiiice! I need my Vit-D, haha.  

This is what I'm craving today----> Iced Cinnamon Dolce Latté from Starbucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No Starbucks in Hungary.  This is probably a good thing in disguise I'm sure.  I seriously need to get a handle on my caffeine addiction.  NOT HEALTHY. :)
